Symbiosis V is an online exhibition featuring calligraphic art created through the 5th International Mentorship Initiative by The Art of Letters.
Over the past nine months, fourteen artists—guided by four distinguished mentors—have developed new works that reflect a dialogue between calligraphy and varied artistic techniques, spanning the traditional to the contemporary.

What is ‘Symbiosis’?
‘Symbiosis’ is our annual online calligraphic art exhibition showcasing works created by participating artists and their mentors during the nine-month international mentorship initiative.
The mentorship helps catalyse each artist’s growth through exploration and collaborative learning as they develop new works that culminate in the ‘Symbiosis’ exhibition. During the exhibition weekends, the artists and mentors also host talks to share their processes, inspiration and creative journey.
Rooted in shared cross-cultural dialogue, each mentoring group becomes an inspiring space where diverse backgrounds, perspectives, disciplines, and artistic traditions naturally intertwine—nurturing and amplifying one another’s creative energy.
