The participants from The Art of Letters mentoring initiative have attained a certain level of skill through years of diligence and hard work. Now in a fresh learning environment, they have pushed boundaries to see creative breakthroughs and create works of art. Led by Toni Watts, Marina Soria and Eleanor Winters, six participating artists from different parts of the world have come together to showcase a body of works for Symbiosis: The Mentoring Journey, including Arathi Ayyangar, Susan Lui, Judith Lee, Lissette Landauro, Nichole Tin and Dorothy Lim

Toni Watts’ group will display their experiments with traditional art of gilding based on 12th century methods, taking it beyond its usual boundaries into unexplored territories.

Marina Soria’s group will share their journey in experimental calligraphy, interwoven with the ‘Garden’ theme.

Eleanor Winters’ group translate traditional calligraphy into expressive pieces rooted in deeply personal stories and family history.
