This is a piece that has deep meaning for me and which I love the most. I was hospitalised for a week due to an unknown virus (I was tested negative for Covid-19) with painful rashes and bruises. During my hospitalisation, I endured daily needles, IV and tubes of blood drawn from me. But through it all, the immense care and kindness of the specialists, emergency room doctor and nurses warmed my heart, and gave me hope that I would soon get well. While in the hospital, I took a traditional medicinal tea that came with a quote on its tag - ‘The creation of a thousand forest is in one acorn.’ To me, that acorn speaks of the one who warms many hearts with acts of kindness. Those acts of kindness from the doctors and nurses I will never forget.
