About the Artist
An artist based in Bangkok, Thailand
Kunnatee Vechasilp
Kunnatee Vechasilp is an artist based in Bangkok, Thailand, with a lifelong love for art and crafts. Although creative classes were available where she lived, calligraphy was rare to find—until the internet and social media opened the door for her to begin her calligraphy journey in 2016. Drawn to classic scripts, she works with Copperplate, Spencerian, American Cursive, Italian Hand, and Gothicized Italic. Her practice is characterised by flourishing, ornaments, and delicate pen-drawn florals, which she considers the most joyful and expressive parts of her work.
