Younghae Chung is a calligrapher and educator based in California, USA. Her introduction to Italic calligraphy began in 2005 through a college elective, sparking a long-term interest in letterforms. She deepened her studies with her first Copperplate workshop in 2014 and has since continued refining her skills through ongoing training and community involvement. With a passion for keeping penmanship alive, Younghae focuses on teaching both in-person and online, sharing the craft with students and helping nurture the next generation of calligraphers.
